Two Paradoxes of Transhumanism

At least for some cases, human enhancement, including intelligence amplification, can be neither understood nor cogently evaluated It raises two paradoxes:

  1. Intelligence horizon paradox
  2. Value paradox

We demonstrate that it is therefore unclear in what sense strong transhumanism could or should be a well defined goal.
